Black Eyed Peas

will.i.am 

Leading and founding member of Black Eyed Peas, William Adams, known as will.i.am, is a Grammy and emmy award-winning artist, producer, and songwriter.

 

Before founding Black Eyed Peas, He group up in Eastern Los Angeles in Boyle Heights. Adams was in a group called A.T.B.A.N. Klann with apl.de.ap, Mooky Mook, and DJ Motiv8 before founding Black Eyed Peas in 1995.

 

Will has released 4 solo albums, and produced songs for an array of artists from John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Sting, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Sergio Mendes, and Britney Spears. He is currently working on his 5th solo project, and has teased solo projects with apl.de.ap and Taboo. 

​

Will has served as a coach on The Voice UK since its formation in 2012. He was the winning coach in both Season 3 and Season 12. He also served as a judge on Alter Ego in 2021. 

 

Will founded the i.am Angel Foundation in 2009 to help send students from his home neighborhood to college. He graduated from Harvard Business School in October of 2024, and since ventured into the technology industry with his company, FYI.ai.

Taboo

Founding member of Black Eyed Peas, Jamie Luis Gomez, known as Taboo Nawasha, is a Grammy award-winning artist and songwriter. 

​

Prior to founding Black Eyed Peas with will.i.am and apl.de.ap, Taboo was in a dance group, Pablo. with Mr. Shaah. After Will and Apl dismantled from their group, A.T.B.A.N Klann, he began to work with them as a part of their "tribe" called Grass Roots. 

​

Taboo has released multiple solo songs, written numerous comic books, produced an autobiography, and featured in numerous films.

 

After his battle with testicular cancer in 2014, he released the single, The Fight, with proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society. In 2025, he collaborated with will.i.am to release the single, EAST LA, in response to the Ice Riots in Eastern Los Angeles. 

​

While the Black Eyed Peas were on hiatus from 2007 to 2008, Taboo featured in the film, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li in 2009, where he played the role of Vega. He returned to the screen in 2022, where he played himself in the second installment of the Blue's Clues film series, Blue's Big City Adventure. In 2024, he voiced the character of Quickatoo in the film, The Great Dora Fiesta. Along with the film, he recorded the song, "Melodia" with his daughter Jett.

George Pajon Jr. 

Guitarist and songwriter George Pajon Jr. is a grammy and emmy award winning musician and songwriter who has worked with the Black Eyed Peas since 1999. 

​

After former Black Eyed Peas musical director Printz Board was asked to join the group in 1998, he agreed that he would under the conditions that Pajon could also join the group as their guitarist. 

​

George joined the group in 1999 during the recording of Bridging the Gap, where he co-wrote and played guitar on 11 tracks. He continued to write and perform with the group on their next 3 albums, and to this day continues to tour with the group as their lead guitarist. 

​

In 2003, once Keith Harris and Tim "Izo" Orindgreff joined the Black Eyed Peas, he and Printz Board formed the band, Bucky Jonson, who became the official band of the Black Eyed Peas until 2012. 

​

His most notable success with the group includes his work on "Where Is the Love," "Let's Get It Started," "Pump It", "Don't Phunk with My Heart," and "Meet Me Halfway." 

​

In addition to his work with the group, George has collaborated with Sting, John Legend, Ricky Martin, Sergio Mendes, Macy Gray, and many more.

Polo Molina

Music manager Polo Molina has been at the helm of the Black Eyed Peas success since their formation in 1995. As the founder of Grassroots Music, Molina was a key player in getting will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo together. 

​

Molina has served as the manager for the Black Eyed Peas since the early 2000's. Along with his team at Grassroots, he has continued to get the group to perform internationally year after year.

apl.de.ap 

Founding member of Black Eyed Peas, Allan Pineda Lindo, known as apl.de.ap, is a Grammy award winning artist and songwriter.

 

He came to the United States in 1988, leaving his home of the Philippines, to get him access to an healthier living environment. He met will.i.am in 1989 with whom he was in the group, A.T.B.A.N. Klann before Black Eyed Peas.

 

He has released several solo singles and is currently working on his first solo album. He has collaborated with the likes of Sandara Park, DJ Ammo, SB19, and Kelis. 

 

Apl served as a coach on The Voice of the Philippines from 2013 to 2015, where he discovered the young artist, Jessica Reynoso, known as J. Rey Soul. He brought her to the United States to begin working with Black Eyed Peas after Fergie left the group in 2018. J. Rey Soul later joined the Black Eyed Peas family. 

​

Apl founded the apl.de.ap Foundation in 2008 to advocate for children in the Philippines. He has become one of the most well-known people from his country, and was honored by The Time Foundation for his work.

J. Rey Soul

Former finalist of The Voice of the Philippines, Jessica Reynoso, known as J. Rey Soul, is an award-winning artist who joined the Black Eyed Peas family in 2018. 

​​

She was raised in the Philippines and found a passion for music throughout her childhood. In 2013, she auditioned for The Voice of the Philippines, where she got two coaches to spin their chairs for her, one of which was Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap, in whom she chose as her Coach. She was eliminated in the fourth round of the live shows. 

​

After The Voice of the Philippines, Reynoso was brought to the United States by apl.de.ap who felt a connection with her due to their similar backgrounds growing up in the Philippines. Apl introduced her to will.i.am and Taboo who admired her talents, and began working with her on her solo music. 

​

J. Rey began recording and touring with Black Eyed Peas in 2017. She provided vocals throughout the group's first album in 8 years, MASTERS OF THE SUN VOL.1. In 2020, she made her debut as a solo artist, collaborating with Black Eyed Peas on Ozuna on the song, MAMACITA, which went on to win a Billboard Latin Music Award and become Platnium certified.

Keith Harris

Drummer, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer, Keith Harris, is a grammy award winning musician who has worked with the Black Eyed Peas since 2003. 

​

After original Black Eyed Peas band members Mike Fratantuno and Terrence Yoshiaki left the band in 2002, Harris became the group's new drummer. In 2004, he started working with the group on their album, Monkey Business, providing drums and keyboards throughout the album.

 

He began producing songs for the group in 2008, earning him his first grammy award for his work on the songs, "Meet Me Halfway" and "Imma Be."

In addition to his work with the group, Harris has collaborated with Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Mariah Carey, Estelle, Michael Jackson, Usher, Britney Spears, and many more. He released his debut solo project, The Keith Harris Experience Volume 1, in 2020, which featured collaborations from Chief Wakil, Church Boi, Estelle, and Jordin Sparks, among others. 

​

Harris continues to work with the group as a songwriter and producer. His most recent work with the group includes his production on the song, "RITMO" and his work on the group's latest album, Elevation

Bobby Grant

Production and stage manager Bobby Grant has been working with the Black Eyed Peas since 2003. He has managed the group's biggest performances from The E.N.D. World Tour in 2009 to their most recent Elevation tour in 2024. 

​

Grant has also produced the group during live events, including their appearance at the the Grammy Awards and the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards. ​​​​
